Tax credit for home help
How large of a tax credit am I eligible for?
You may be eligible for the tax credit for home support for seniors for the 2024 tax year if you meet the following two eligibility requirements:
you are 70 years of age or older;
you reside in Quebec on December 31, 2024.
If you turned 70 during the year, only expenses paid for services rendered after you turned 70 are eligible for this tax credit.

The credit for home support for seniors is financial assistance intended to fund eligible home support services. It is in addition to financial assistance from the PEFSAD.
The eligible expenses to which you are entitled vary depending on where you live and your family situation.
