Our caregivers are the heart of Répit-Ressource. Behind every visit is a person who adapts, listens, and exercises good judgment—someone who acts with respect and discretion in the privacy of another person’s home, often during moments of vulnerability. This is no ordinary job. Every day, they help older adults stay in their homes, in their neighborhoods, surrounded by the things that give them a sense of security. They provide relief to family caregivers, who often shoulder a heavy burden. They maintain an essential human connection—sometimes the only visit of the week for some people.
